PORTALJABAR, KARAWANG REGENCY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Deli factory in the Artha Industrial Hill Industrial Area, Karawang Regency, Wednesday (11/26/2025).

In his remarks, KDM -- Dedi Mulyadi's nickname -- expressed his hope that the presence of the new factory would absorb more workers from the surrounding area, thereby encouraging the creation of a multiplier effect for the West Java economy.

"The presence of industry has created thousands, even millions of jobs. Industry has also given rise to new economic sectors that operate and revolve around industrial areas," said KDM.

Governor KDM also appreciated Deli's commitment as an industry that has played a vital role in supporting educational and office activities in Indonesia.

"On behalf of the West Java Provincial Government, I would like to express my gratitude for Deli's contribution to supporting the intellectual activities of the Indonesian people. This industry plays a strategic role in the education and office sectors," he said.

KDM reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the best investment climate in West Java in Indonesia. He stated that the presence of the new Deli factory further solidifies West Java as a home for industries seeking growth and investment.

"I will ensure that West Java's investment climate remains number one in Indonesia," he stressed.

On the same occasion, Governor KDM also introduced the Nyari Gawe app, an official service of the West Java Provincial Government that simplifies the job search process. He urged companies to utilize the app when posting job openings.

"The Nyari Gawe app is a solution, proving that the government is there to meet the people's needs. Job applications and interviews can be done through a single portal, eliminating the need for people to queue at company gates," he explained. (*pim)
