PORTALJABAR, CIREBON CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi plans to revitalize the beauty of four palaces in Cirebon City. The Kasepuhan, Kacirebonan, Kanoman, and Kaprabonan palaces will be kept clean and tidy.

The roads around the palace will be cleaned, the sidewalks repaired, and the river will also be cleaned so that it has clear water all the way to the sea.

"There should be no more scattered trash and squalor. I have no desire for anything other than a legacy when I lead, that when Deddy Mulyadi led with the spirit of Padjadjaran, Keraton Kasepuhan, Kacirebonan, Kanoman, Kaprabonan, everything must be neatly arranged like in the past. There is no need to just talk about the provincial budget anymore, many want to help and participate," he said at the Padjadjaran Napaktilas Binokasih Crown Cultural Parade, Sunday evening in Cirebon City (May 10, 2026).

This plan is intended to encourage tourists to stay longer in Cirebon. Currently, he says, tourists only stay for a day.

"I heard that on average, visitors to the palace in Cirebon return home in one day because they only see the palace, and their eyes can no longer see the beauty of Cirebon. The atmosphere is too hot. The historical atmosphere, the social atmosphere, and the atmosphere of love are gone. So I urge the Regent and the Mayor to let us use love in managing the city," he stressed.

KDM emphasized that he was responsible for all the construction and renovation of the palace in Cirebon, with the note that it must be cared for and maintained, not sold for the needs of a handful of people.

"We are not selling the palace but we are maintaining the palace, we are not selling the tomb but we are maintaining the tomb," he stressed.

He will also arrange the route for the Padjadjaran Napaktilas Binokasih Crown Cultural Parade in every city passed through in the Milangkala Tatar Sunda activity.

This arrangement aims to restore the beauty of the city and reaffirm the existence of West Java's art and cultural history to the people of West Java.

"In Karawang, I will build the Love Courtyard. In Bogor, I will also build the Binokasih Courtyard. So next year, in Cirebon, since I left here, I will build the Caruban Courtyard," he said.
