PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi expressed the importance of collaboration between the West Java Provincial Government and the West Java Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (BI) to strengthen equitable and sustainable regional development.

This was stated by Dedi Mulyadi after attending the inauguration of the Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for West Java Province, at the BI West Java Representative Office, Bandung City, Monday (11/5/2026).

KDM, Dedi Mulyadi's nickname, hopes that the collaboration that has been established with BI can continue, especially in supporting the two main policies of the West Java Provincial Government.

The first policy is equitable financial distribution across West Java. According to KDM, equitable financial distribution is a crucial foundation for driving inclusive economic growth. This way, every region has an equal opportunity to improve public welfare.

The second policy is to build an ecologically based economic ecosystem as the direction of West Java's future development.

He believes that economic development is not only oriented towards growth, but must also pay attention to environmental balance and natural sustainability.

"With this approach, West Java is expected to be able to deliver development that is adaptive to the challenges of climate change while strengthening the community's social resilience," said KDM.

Meanwhile, the inauguration of Junanto Herdiawan as Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for West Java Province serves as a momentum to strengthen coordination and collaboration between regional governments, financial authorities, and all stakeholders in maintaining regional economic stability and encouraging sustainable development in West Java.
