PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi asked the public, especially parents who will enroll their children in high school/vocational school, not to panic about the New Student Admission System (SPMB) process in West Java.

According to KDM, Dedi Mulyadi's nickname, the New Student Admissions (SPMB) is currently entering the New Student Prospective Mapping (PCMB) phase, which will run from May 29, 2026, to June 9, 2026, at 9:00 PM WIB. During this phase, students will select their target schools through the provided channels. The results of student admissions to their target schools will be announced on June 12, 2026.

Students who have not been accepted at any school need not worry because SPMB stages 1 and 2 will be implemented. Students can choose schools that have unfilled quotas.

Registration for SPMB stage 1 begins on June 15, 2026, and ends on June 19, 2026. The announcement for SPMB stage 1 will be made on June 25, 2026.

If there are still students who have not found a school, they can register for SPMB stage 2 which starts on June 30, 2026 to July 6, 2026. The announcement of SPMB stage 2 will take place on July 10, 2026.

"We still have enough time to fix it. We'll fix it," said KDM at the West Java Education Office, Tuesday (June 9, 2026).

KDM emphasized its strong commitment to ensuring the smooth running of the SPMB. The digital system has been optimized to ensure there are no significant obstacles until the SPMB process is complete.

KDM also stated that if there is any fraud related to SPMB, it should be reported immediately.

"Name the person who did the buying and selling. Name the location, don't make rumors. If you're trying to name the person who did the buying and selling, name the teacher, name the official. Report the legal process," he concluded.

He also ensured that the SPMB was conducted objectively and transparently. Student grades were determined in accordance with the technical guidelines for the 2026 SPMB.
