PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin led a joint roll call and emphasized the technology-based evaluation of State Civil Apparatus discipline in Tarogong Kidul (27/7/2026).

This monitoring is carried out to ensure that employee attendance is recorded accurately and to support improving the quality of services to the public.

Syakur conveyed public input regarding ASN performance as evaluation material to ensure more effective governance.

"But there's no harm in evaluating whether that's true or not," he said.

Syakur explained that information technology now allows leaders to monitor ASN attendance in real time through digital attendance traces.

This system is different from the previous manual method which took longer to monitor employee attendance.

He emphasized that the implementation of the system is in line with the State Civil Service Law, which prioritizes performance-based assessments.

"So, for that reason, I remind all of us regarding absences, which I think are important to note," he continued.

Based on data from the Garut Regency Government as of July 27, 2026, as many as 20,768 of the total 25,871 ASN were present on time at their respective work units.

This achievement reached around 80 percent and increased compared to the same period the previous year, but still needs to be improved.

Syakur also commended regional apparatuses for achieving a civil servant attendance rate above 95 percent by June 2026.

These regional apparatuses include the Civil Service Police Unit, the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency, and the Agriculture Agency.

Periodic evaluations are expected to maintain ASN discipline while realizing professional, transparent, and accountable public services.
