PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government is strengthening the enforcement of Regional Regulations (Perda) and Regional Head Regulations (Perkada) by harmonizing cross-agency data so that handling of various public issues can be carried out more precisely, measurably, and beneficially for the community.

Head of the Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit, Bambang Sukardi, said that this effort was carried out by involving all regional and territorial apparatus organizations, the State Intelligence Agency, the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and the Republic of Indonesia National Police in providing accurate and integrated data (4/6/2026).

According to Bambang, valid data is an important basis for every implementation of law enforcement in the field so that the policies taken can be in accordance with real conditions.

"This data optimization is crucial because every enforcement action requires clear, fact-based mapping. Therefore, we need the support of all regional agencies to provide accurate data within their respective jurisdictions," said Bambang.

He explained that a number of issues that frequently attract public attention, such as advertising, permits, regional taxes, public street lighting, and regional issues, require comprehensive sectoral data support to ensure more effective handling.

Data synchronization is also considered important to support policy formulation and address information needs in discussions with various stakeholders.

"Without accurate data, we won't be able to compile a good mapping or convey the needs and conditions on the ground comprehensively to the leadership and the DPRD," he said.

In addition to strengthening the database, this activity serves as a means of building a common perception among regional agencies in maintaining peace, public order, and protecting the community.

Bambang emphasized that realizing a safe and orderly Bandung City requires the involvement of all elements of government and the support of the community.

He also emphasized the importance of consistent urban planning based on applicable regulations so that public spaces can be utilized according to their intended purpose.

"Urban planning must be carried out firmly but still prioritize a humanistic approach. The goal is not just to maintain order, but also to ensure that public spaces can be used as intended for the benefit of the wider community," he said.

The Head of the Implementation Committee, Fachruly, explained that the activity aimed to harmonize data on regional law enforcement objects between technical regional apparatus and regional ranks throughout the City of Bandung.

This step is also aimed at increasing public and business compliance with regional regulations, supporting the optimization of regional revenue through accurate licensing and taxpayer data, and strengthening the operational performance of the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP).

A total of 100 participants from regional and territorial apparatuses and the ranks of the Bandung City Satpol PP attended the activity.

By integrating data and information between agencies, the Bandung City Government hopes that the enforcement of Regional Regulations and Regional Head Regulations can be carried out more effectively, thereby creating a safe, orderly, comfortable environment that supports community activities.
