PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Sindangjaya Subdistrict, Bandung City prioritizes the Family Planning Village program, to create quality and competitive families.

In the Sindangjaya sub-district it is called the Serumpun Family Planning Village which has a vision and mission to create healthy, prosperous, creative and quality small families.

Its mission is to create happy and healthy families physically and mentally, improve the family's independent economy, uphold culture and customs and create quality families with the Bangga Kencana program.

"The goal is to improve the quality of life in our area," said Sindangjaya Village Head Yayan Syurya Mulyana in a Podcast Activity with Bandung Public Relations, Tuesday (7/5/2024).

He revealed that there are 8 foundations for implementing this KKB, namely the religious working group, education working group, environmental working group, economic working group, reproduction working group, socio-cultural working group, love working group and protection working group.

“Everyone's human resources have their own potential. "We work together in every activity," he said.

He added that the presence of the KKB had a significant impact on environmental health. One of them, the stunting rate in the Sindangjaya area has decreased.

"In 2023 we will receive assistance for the Healthy Kitchen to Overcome Stunting. A full month of cooking to overcome stunting. Thank God, on this basis, it has decreased from 42 cases to 40 cases, weight and height are visible. We will continue to monitor this," he explained. (Diskominfo Bandung City/UPI)
