PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java contingent added a number of gold medals so that it returned to the top of the temporary medal standings for the 21st PON Aceh-North Sumatra 2024.

As of 22.00, Tuesday night (17/9/2024), from the KONI Jabar website , the West Java contingent won 133 gold medals, 123 silver medals, and 124 bronze medals, so that the total collection was 380 medals.

The medal achievement brought West Java back to the top of the standings towards West Java Hattrick as the General Champion of PON.

The gold medals won by the West Java contingent on Tuesday were largely contributed by athletics.
This gold was contributed by Kickboxing athlete Brigette Giovandretta Pohan in the Creative Form (Open Hands) - Individual Women's number and Fatwa Ramadhan in the Creative Form (Open Hands) - Individual Men's number.
Muhamad Dwiky Raharjo from the aquatics branch in the 100 meter breaststroke swimming number also contributed gold.

Likewise, Pandu Sukarya added gold for West Java in the 3,000 meter hurdles athletics event.
