PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans) of Garut Regency, Muksin, attended the release of 40 participants of the food processing internship program to Japan, which took place at the LPK Mulya Cendikia Education, Garut Regency, Tuesday (29/4/2025).
In his speech, Muksin appreciated the implementation of this program. He considered the cooperation between LPK, Japanese companies, and the Garut Regency Government (Pemkab) as a strategic step in efforts to improve the quality and empowerment of the young generation of the workforce in Garut.
"We from the Garut Regency Government would like to express our gratitude. Hopefully this collaboration can continue to improve the empowerment of the younger generation," he said.
He also emphasized that this internship program is a golden opportunity for participants to develop themselves, both in terms of skills, knowledge, and professional attitudes.
Muksin hopes that this internship program to Japan can be expanded and continued, so that more young people from Garut have similar opportunities.
"So that it can contribute to the nation and state, especially Garut Regency," he said.
He also entrusted the interns to the LPK and companies in Japan to provide the best guidance and experience during the program.
The visit from the Japanese Aeon Company in this activity reflects the trust and commitment of the Japanese party to the quality of human resources from Garut Regency.
It is hoped that this collaboration will open up wider opportunities for improving the competence of the younger generation in the future.
