PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - Head of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK) Bogor Regency, Halimatu Sadiyah Iwan took part in the Cadre Meeting as well as the working visit of the General Chair of the Central TP-PKK, Tri Tito Karnavian at the Bekasi City Patriot Hall, Monday (6/11/2023).

On this occasion, the Chair of the Bogor Regency TP-PKK followed the direction of the General Chair of the Central TP-PKK.
Next, the Chair of the Bogor Regency TP PKK visited the MSME bazaar during the Cheap Market Movement (GPM) activities.

The Chairperson of the Bogor Regency TP-PKK, Halimatu Sadiyah Iwan, revealed that today she was present during the working visit of the General Chairperson of the Central TP-PKK in the city of Bekasi. As well as following his direct direction to improve the quality and capacity of PKK cadres, starting from the district, sub-district level, down to the village and sub-district levels.

"Another thing emphasized in the directive is the acceleration of reducing stunting rates. "This activity is now a priority for the Bogor Regency PKK TP, efforts are also carried out continuously, such as socializing, educating, intervening, and so on," said Halimatu Sadiyah.

Halimatu Sadiyah added that recently, through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), PKK-Bogor Regency synergized with Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kahuripan to provide assistance in the form of 60,000 eggs, which were distributed directly to 12 districts affected by stunting intervention.

"So the efforts that we are carrying out by the Bogor Regency PKK are of course to establish cooperation and synergy with the Bogor Regency Government and all stakeholders in order to make Bogor Regency stunting-free," said Halimatu Sadiyah.

He hopes that TP-PKK as an organization that partners with the government, in the future can continue to transform and innovate to be better, in order to support development. And of course it can make a positive contribution in realizing family welfare in the Bogor Regency area.

The General Chair of the Central TP-PKK, Tri Tito Karnavian, explained, let's increase our motivation and potential as PKK cadres to benefit society.

TP-PKK is the only women's organization that has a legal basis in Presidential Regulation (Perpres). The PKK is the largest organization not only in Indonesia but also in the world, the PKK has cadres down to the household level, namely the Dasawisma Cadre. This is where the PKK has the power to move, which the regional government must take advantage of.

"The PKK not only improves the welfare of its cadres, but also the welfare of the community, where the cadres are the media to convey government programs to the community directly. "PKK programs must also benefit the surrounding community," explained Tri.
