Makassar City — The Galunggung Info Community Information Community (KIM) participated in the 2024 Makassar KIM Festival held by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemenkominfo) at the City of Makassar Pavilion, Losari Beach, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, which was held from Friday-Sunday (9-11/8/2024).

KIM Galunggung Info appreciates the West Java Provincial Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) and the Tasikmalaya Regency Diskominfo for their support, both moral and material, so that KIM Galunggung Info can participate in the 2024 Makassar KIM Festival Exhibition and Competition.

According to them, support from the government is very meaningful, this support is a real form of the government's participation in coaching and activities, so that the existence of KIM can continue to grow and develop and bring positive benefits to various parties.

The 2024 KIM Festival will be held for three days and will be attended by 11 KIMs from 9 provinces throughout Indonesia. This festival is an annual national activity held by the Ministry of Communication and Information, which was previously held in the city of Surabaya.

During the event, the KIM Galunggung Info booth was visited by the chairman of the South and West Sulawesi Sundanese Community (KWS Sulselbar) Gun Gun Gunawan and his family and youth members of KWS Sulselbar Fauzi Liyunzira.

The annual event held at every KIM Festival is the KIM Exhibition and Competition. The exhibition is filled with various innovations and creativity carried out by KIM during its activities. Meanwhile, for the competition, all KIMs compete to win the best portfolio, booth, and presentation.

The purpose of holding the KIM festival is to introduce KIM as a strategic partner of the government in conducting public communication to the community; foster a spirit of innovation, competition, collaboration and networking between KIMs throughout Indonesia; and provide appreciation to strategic partners of the government for their efforts in conducting public communication.
