PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan believes that communities can attract tourists and promote the various attractions of Bandung City.

This was conveyed by Farhan when releasing the participants of the 1st Decade Anniversary of Royal Riders Indonesia (RoRi) at Bandung City Hall (8/8/2026).

The event brought together RoRi members from various regions in Indonesia to participate in a series of community celebrations for a decade in the city of Bandung.

"I heard that up to 40,000 people registered, but only around 1,000 showed up. Around 400 showed up here. Thank you very much," said Farhan.

According to Farhan, the presence of communities from various regions is an opportunity to introduce Bandung City's tourist destinations and experiences.

Participants who come also have the potential to reintroduce the various attractions of Bandung City after returning to their respective regions.

"Hopefully everything will go smoothly until we reach the event venue tonight, namely Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base," he said.

The momentum of the RoRi activities also coincided with the resumption of operations of Husein Sastranegara International Airport in Bandung City.

Farhan believes that the reopening of flights from Bandung will provide easier access for people to various regions.

"As soon as I found out the event was at Husein Sastranegara International Airport, I was really happy because at the same time, Indonesia's attention is now focused on Husein Sastranegara Airport because Husein Sastranegara Airport has finally reopened," he said.

Farhan expressed his appreciation to the ranks of Husein Sastranegara Air Base (Lanud) for their support in reopening flight access.

"Thank you to the Air Force Base Commander. We worked together to convince the president to finally reopen Husein Sastranegara Airport," said Farhan.

He hopes that the series of RoRi's decade-long celebrations will run smoothly and provide a positive experience for participants during their stay in Bandung.

"Dear friends, RoRi members, happy Rolling Thunder. Enjoy Bandung and enjoy the 10th anniversary of Royal Riders Indonesia," he said.

RoRi's 1st Decade Anniversary Celebration also featured Rolling Thunder activities with community participants from various regions of Indonesia.

The series of activities then continued at the Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base area as part of the celebration of a decade of RoRi in the city of Bandung.
