PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government confirmed that the condition of Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan is gradually improving after experiencing a decline in health and is still undergoing further examinations 11/7/2026.

Bandung City Regional Secretary Iskandar Zulkarnain said Muhammad Farhan was unable to attend the Asia Africa Festival agenda because he was still under medical care.

"Thank God, his condition has improved. However, he still needs to undergo further examination," said Iskandar.

Iskandar said that more detailed information regarding Muhammad Farhan's health condition could not be provided because they were still waiting for the results of the examination.

According to him, the busy activities in the last few days are suspected to have affected the mayor's physical condition.

Muhammad Farhan carries out various agendas from early morning until late at night, including monitoring the clean-up and cleaning activities in the Bandung City area.

In addition, the mayor had traveled to Jakarta to attend condolences for the death of Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Rachmat Gobel before returning to continue his activities in Bandung.

"He has a very busy schedule. He's been out monitoring various activities from dawn, sometimes even early in the morning. He then travels to Jakarta and back to Bandung to continue his schedule. It's possible he's not feeling well," he said.

Iskandar invited the people of Bandung City to pray for Muhammad Farhan's speedy recovery and his return to serving the community.

"We ask for prayers from all the people of Bandung City for his speedy recovery and health so he can return to his duties," he said.
