PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City contingent won three championship titles and one runner-up title in the indoor basketball and volleyball sports of the 2026 West Java Regional Student Sports Week and also qualified four teams for the XV West Java Regional Student Sports Week (27/6/2026).

This success strengthens Bandung City's position as one of the regions with consistently high-achieving student athlete development.

The men's and women's basketball teams both emerged as champions after sweeping all matches throughout the tournament.

The women's team defeated Tasikmalaya City, Garut Regency, Ciamis Regency, and Bandung Regency to secure the championship title.

Meanwhile, the men's team defeated Garut Regency, Bandung Regency, Tasikmalaya City, and Ciamis Regency to successfully win the championship title.

The basketball achievements were further completed after Jeremy Christan Fievel A. and Sherenda Aura A. were named Most Valuable Players thanks to their best performances throughout the competition.

The indoor volleyball sport also contributed to the achievement through the men's team's championship title and the women's team's runner-up position.

The men's team recorded victories over Garut Regency, Ciamis Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, and Bandung Regency in the final match.

The women's team won against Ciamis Regency and Garut Regency before finishing as runners-up.

All indoor basketball and volleyball teams from Bandung City are confirmed to advance to the 15th West Java Regional Student Sports Week as representatives from the qualifying regions.
