PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government officially launched the 2025 Calendar of Events (COE) at The Papandayan Hotel, Jalan Gatot Subroto No.83, Monday (30/9/2024). A total of 84 events will be held throughout 2025.

COE is an annual agenda presented by the Bandung City Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) with the aim of increasing tourist visits and strengthening the creative economy sector.

Head of the Bandung City Culture and Tourism Office, Arief Syaifudin, said that tourism is important in advancing the economy of Bandung City.

"Currently, 84 events have been registered in COE 2025. Hopefully this can attract the interest of tourists from within and outside the country," he said.

Arif also said that Bandung will be invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in October to present the event calendar at the national level.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Bandung City DPRD Asep Mulyadi also expressed his pride.

"Bandung is now the third largest tourist destination in Indonesia. We must continue to innovate to strengthen this position," said Asep.

He also encouraged synergy between the government and tourism industry players so that innovation continues to grow and attract more tourists. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/Revo)
