PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City contingent is optimistic that they can win the overall championship at the XV West Java Province Inter-Regional Sports Week (Porpemda) which will be held in Kuningan Regency on 25-29 November 2023.

Optimism arises because the Bandung City contingent is carrying out various preparations to face this prestigious inter-regional event.

Not only that, the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna also deliberately injected enthusiasm into the athletes who would compete in the event.

"Continue to train, persevere and be determined to achieve our champion target," stressed Ema Sumarna when meeting the athletes from the Bandung City contingent at the Asrilia Hotel (21/11/2023).

Ema hopes that the Bandung City contingent can be serious about taking part in the competition. The reason is, it takes hard work to get maximum results.

"Every sport must have a target, this is also a motivation," he said.

In the same place, the Head of the Bandung City Youth and Sports Service, Eddy Marwoto, revealed that Porpemda is an Inter-Regional Government Sports Week which aims to be a space for friendship between regions.

"This is a forum for friendship between the provincial government and regional government in West Java," he said.

"We hope that the motivation provided by the leadership will be able to provide enthusiasm to win," he added.

The Bandung City contingent has registered and verified as many as 279 people, with details, 15 managers, 185 athletes, 34 coaches and 45 officials.
