PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Communication and Solution Forum (FOKUS) Radio Intan Garut Vol. 50 is back again, collaborating with the Garut Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) in a live talk show with the theme "Introduction to Coretax: A Technology-Based Tax Administration System".

This event took place at the UPT Radio Intan Garut Broadcasting Studio, Monday (30/9/2024).

The talk show presented First Expert Tax Counselor Rifki Arif Wijaya, Assistant Supervisor Tax Counselor Linda Handiani, and Skilled Tax Counselor Assistant Andre Hendika, who explained about Coretax, an integrated system developed by the Directorate General of Taxes.

Andre Hendika explained that Coretax is an application that will integrate various tax services that are currently separate, such as DJP Online, e-Faktur, and BPHTB, into one integrated system. Coretax will cover the entire tax process, from taxpayer profiles to submitting annual reports.

"Everything related to tax records will be in Coretax, from the smallest things related to taxpayer profiles to the final process of submitting annual tax reports, later in Cortex," he said.

Andre said that the main goal of Coretax is to provide convenience for taxpayers in carrying out their tax obligations, with the hope of increasing taxpayer compliance. "The hope is that all tax friends or taxpayers will have an increased level of compliance," he said.

One of the superior features offered by Coretax is Tax Deposit, which allows taxpayers to make advance payments. The deposit balance will then be automatically deducted when it is time to pay taxes.

Andre also explained that excess tax payments will be returned quickly through the bank account registered in the application.

Taxpayers can access the Coretax usage tutorial via the pajak.go.id website.

"The superior feature that we are offering now, apart from the Tax Deposit, is also for the refund of excess tax payments, the funds will be quickly transferred to the taxpayer," he said.

In addition, KPP Pratama Garut continues to strive to increase public awareness of the importance of taxes through socialization at various levels, from schools to workers. Tax classes are also routinely held both online and offline.

"Then we hold tax classes related to the rules that are often asked in the office, we hold them online (and) we hold them offline," he said.

With Coretax, Andre hopes that tax services at KPP Pratama Garut can be better and the public will be more aware of taxation.

"Hopefully, with the improvement of our services, the community, in this case taxpayers, will also increase their level of compliance and willingness to carry out their tax obligations," he said.
