PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Garut Regency General Election Commission (KPU) is holding a mascot and jingle competition for the Election of Regent and Deputy Regent or the 2024 Garut Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

This is stated in the Garut Regency KPU Announcement Letter Number: 40/HM.04-Pu/3205/2024 concerning the Mascot and Jingle Competition for the Election of Regent and Deputy Regent or Garut Regional Election in 2024 which was published, Friday (5/4/2024) .

The announcement and acceptance of works will take place from April 5 2024 to 16.00 WIB April 20 2024.

According to the Chairman of the Garut Regency KPU, Dian Hasanudin, there are several general provisions and special provisions that must be fulfilled by participants in taking part in the Mascot and Jingle Competition, one of which is that each work must be accompanied by a written narrative of the concept and philosophy of the mascot and jingle in word or txt format.

Meanwhile, the special provisions for Mascots include objects that may be used as mascots, namely sites, historical objects/cultural heritage, or flora and fauna in Garut Regency.

"One of the special provisions for Jingle is that the duration of the jingle is no more than 2.4 minutes and there are no repetitions," said Dian in her statement, Saturday (6/4/2024).

This mascot and jingle competition competes for a total prize of IDR 60, with each category having a prize of IDR 30 million.
