PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Patrakomala Gallery of the Bandung City Department of Crafts at Braga Citywalk is once again in the international spotlight. A number of VIP guests from various embassies in Asia and Africa visited the gallery on Friday (10/17/2025) as part of the 2025 Asia Africa Festival.

This visit was attended by representatives from various friendly countries, including Mr. Md. Tarikul Islam and Mr. Mohammad Fahim Ahmed (Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh), Mr. Vicky Ramaditya Wardana and Mr. Josua Somba (Embassy of Seychelles Africa), and Mr. Matar Ali Fadhel Saleem Al Mansoori (Embassy of the United Arab Emirates).

In addition, also present were Mr. Pepe Daniel Lama and Mr. Cherif Sadabiou Haidara (Embassy of the Republic of Guinea), Mr. Theophile Rurangwa (Embassy of Rwanda), Ms. Jenny Boski from the Embassy of Papua New Guinea, Ms. Rosnita binti Hamzah (Embassy of Malaysia) and Ms. Jade Rau Rajab (Embassy of Egypt).

On the occasion, Bandung Mayor Farhan warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and introduced a variety of superior local products on display at the Patrakomala Gallery. These products are the work of Bandung's MSMEs and creative artisans.

"Through the Patrakomala Gallery, we want to show the world that Bandung products have quality and character that we can be proud of," said Farhan.

The delegates enthusiastically explored the galleries showcasing a variety of products, from fashion to crafts to culinary specialties. They praised the quality and creativity of Bandung-made products, which are rich in cultural values and innovation.

One of the delegates, Mr. Cherif Sadabiou Haidara (Republic of Guinea), even expressed his admiration. He purchased a clutch by local brand Gammara and enthusiastically remarked that his visit to Patrakomala felt "lovely, amazing, complete, everything is here!"

The delegates also praised the products at the Patrakomala Gallery for their attractive designs, superior quality, and global competitiveness. They recommended that international tourists and local residents visit the gallery to see and purchase authentic Bandung products.

The visit by the Asia-Africa delegation demonstrates Bandung's continued strengthening of cultural diplomacy and the creative economy, while also demonstrating to the world that the creativity of Bandung residents can be a source of shared pride.
