PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) sealed a minimarket on Jalan Geger Kalong Girang which is on the Bandung City Regional Regulation route because it did not have an operational permit and disturbed peace and public security and community protection (Trantibumlinmas) and crossed operational hour.

Head of Bandung City Satpol PP, Rasdian Setiadi, said that after receiving reports of complaints, the public immediately checked the location.

"After we carried out a follow-up inspection of the complaint by Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS) accompanied by the police and regional authorities. The results of the inspection showed three violations. Firstly there was no operational permit. Second, it was past operational hours and thirdly there was disruption to the Linmas Trantibum," said Rasdian (2/ 4/2024).

Rasdian said that after an inspection it was discovered that the minimarket did not have an operational permit at that location and was not registered on the Bandung City Trade and Industry Service (Disdagin) database.

"Indeed, the center is in the name of Akhmad Jaelani but at that point there is no operational permit. "At another point there were complaints that there was no operational permit," he said.

"It can be seen in the Disdagin database, it is not included. We also get information from the relevant OPD," he added.

Apart from that, the operating hours of the minimarket exceeded the predetermined limits, resulting in disruption to public transportation and public transportation that was felt by the local community regarding the minimarket's activities.

This minimarket, Rasdin emphasized, violates Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2009 concerning the Arrangement of Traditional Markets, Shopping Centers and Modern Stores and Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2019 concerning Tibumtranlinmas.

On this basis, the Bandung City Satpol PP imposed a temporary closure sanction and carried out approval.

"Next, we will carry out temporary closures and closings until those who fulfill their obligations have operational permits, then PPNS will be notified regarding violations of public transport and public transport and can be subject to further sanctions," he said.

"We will monitor operational hours," he added.

Rasdian also appealed to people who feel disturbed by activities that violate the public transport policy to immediately report it to the Bandung City Satpol PP.

"We will immediately follow up further if there are reported violations of public transport and law enforcement," he said. (Diskominfo Bandung City/Fauziah)
