PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan inaugurated and took the oath of office of 105 state civil servants within the Bandung City Government to strengthen public services, Tuesday (7/7/2026).

A total of 105 ASN who were inaugurated consisted of 77 structural officials and 28 functional officials at the Bandung City Hall Plaza.

Farhan emphasized that the position he holds is not just an award, but a mandate that must be accountable to the government and God Almighty.

"This is not just a gift or fortune, but a mandate. In every mandate there is a very big responsibility," he said.

According to Farhan, Bandung City has around 22 thousand ASN who are selected human resources to provide the best service to the community.

He said the government's current challenge is to maintain consistent policy implementation so that the benefits are truly felt by the public.

"Our biggest challenge is consistency in implementing policies. Bandung City's strength lies in the quality of its human resources. Therefore, development must remain focused on human resource development," he said.

Farhan also reminded all civil servants to strengthen their integrity, reject gratuities, and avoid all forms of conflict of interest.

"I emphasize again, there should never be any gifts to me or my family. Just pray. What we are building is a professional, objective, and conflict-of-interest-free bureaucracy," he asserted.

In addition, Farhan asked ASN to be wise in using social media and to maintain public trust through a professional attitude in carrying out their duties.

At the end of his instructions, Farhan invited all ASN to make their positions a form of devotion by adhering to the 3P principles, namely being appropriate, proper, and obedient.
