PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Regent of Garut, Abdusy Syakur Amin, inaugurated three Village Heads elected as a result of the Interim Election (PAW) in the Pamengkang Room, Garut City District, Garut Regency, Tuesday (11/8/2026).

In his remarks, the Regent of Garut congratulated the newly inaugurated village heads. He emphasized that this position represents a significant responsibility that must be utilized to benefit the community.

"Now, this is an opportunity for all of us to contribute, to share our wisdom with the community," said Garut Regent, Abdusy Syakur Amin.

He reminded the village government to prioritize their commitment to serving the community through concrete programs and actions.

"We must maintain in our minds that we want to serve the community with positive contributions and carry out concrete activities," he stressed.

The Regent of Garut also conveyed a number of matters that need to be of concern to Village Heads, particularly in the aspects of health, education, and the economy.

In the health sector, he asked village governments to participate in addressing maternal and child mortality rates (MMR/MMR), increasing child vaccination coverage, and encouraging the implementation of clean and healthy lifestyles (PHBS).

In the field of education, village governments are asked to help handle school dropouts so that they can regain access to proper education.

Meanwhile, in the economic sector, Village Heads are encouraged to increase community productivity and strengthen local economic empowerment programs.

The Regent also asked the Village Heads not to hesitate to face development challenges while carrying out their duties with sincerity, honesty, and involving the community.

"Of course, Mr. Village Head, don't worry, sir. If our intentions are sincere and honest, there will always be someone to help, so there's no need to worry. And just as important is community participation," he said.

The three Village Heads who were inaugurated as PAW results were:

1. Hedi Kuswandi, A.Ma. – Head of Sukamulya Village, Pakenjeng District.
2. Asep Hindarsah – Head of Caringin Village, Karang Tengah District.
3. Falah Ramdani – Head of Cimanganten Village, Tarogong Kaler District.
