PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin inaugurated the Acting Regent of Cirebon at Gedung Sate, Bandung City, Friday (17/5/2024).

The Acting Regent of Cirebon is Wahyu Mijaya, who was officially appointed based on the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 100.2.1.3 - 1075. Wahyu is the Head of the West Java Education Service.

"I remind you of the importance of integrity and transparency in carrying out your duties as regional head," said Bey Machmudin.

Bey said that strong leadership needs to be based on high moral principles and unwavering honesty.

"We must be committed to serving the community with dedication and selflessness and maintaining trust," he said.

Through synergy and collaboration, Bey emphasized this as the key to success in facing various challenges as a regional leader.

"Through synergy and collaboration between regional governments, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and all elements of society is the key to success," said Bey.

"Make sure every policy taken involves active participation from all parties involved," he added.

Apart from that, in facing the 2024 simultaneous regional elections, Bey reminded that the neutrality of ASN needs to be emphasized.

"Integrity and professionalism are the basic foundations of ASN in carrying out state duties," he said.

Wahyu, who is the Head of the West Java Education Service, is expected to be involved in organizing the Admission of New Students
(PPDB) in Cirebon Regency can be the best example and avoid fraud.

"He is the Head of the West Java Education Service. I hope that Cirebon Regency will be the best example in this year's PPDB," he said.

Bey hopes that the mandate of the position given can provide better progress and prosperity for the people of Cirebon Regency.

"The people's great hopes are of course placed on you as regional leader," concluded Bey.
