PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Pocari Sweat Run 2026 was the first experience of running in Bandung City for Angga Yunanda and Jerome Polin in the 10K category, Saturday (19/9/2026).

For Angga, the experience provided a different way to enjoy Bandung City because he could explore the city by running with other participants.

"This is my first time running in Bandung and a 10K. I'm so happy to be able to be with Pocari Sweat and explore Bandung. Usually, I'd probably go by car. But now I can run with all my friends in Bandung and the surrounding areas. It's so much fun," said Angga.

He also enjoyed the support of residents along the route which gave him added encouragement to complete the run to the finish line.

"The cheering crowd also provided incredible encouragement. It gave me even more power to finish strong," he said.

Angga admitted that he wanted to run again in Bandung.

Of all the routes he has taken, the area leading up to the finish line is his favorite part.

"They're all favorites. But I think the one near the finish line is the most favorite," said Angga.

Meanwhile, Jerome Polin also participated in running in Bandung City for the first time.

He said that Bandung's cool weather and cheering atmosphere along the route made the 10K experience enjoyable.

"This is my first time running in Bandung, and it's a virgin 10K. The temperature and weather are really nice. Maybe it's because it's raining, so it feels even colder," said Jerome.

According to Jerome, the enthusiasm of the residents kept the running atmosphere lively throughout the route.

"The cheering was so much fun, it was like a constant hype throughout the run, I didn't get bored at all," he said.

This experience made Jerome hope to return to participate in the Pocari Sweat Run over a longer distance.

"My hope is maybe I want something longer, a half marathon," said Jerome.
