PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin stated that character education through the Introduction to National Defense and Wanadri Forest Mountain School 2024 activities can form a disciplined, responsible, and patriotic soul.

"Through educational, exploration, humanitarian, and environmental activities, Wanadri has succeeded in fostering a young generation who loves nature and has the spirit to defend and advance the nation," said Bey when releasing participants of the 2024 Wanadri Forest Mountain School at Gedung Sate, Bandung City, Sunday (11/17/2024).

Bey said, the concept of defending the country of the activity is the foundation in building the character of the young generation. The activity undertaken by dozens of participants will last for one week at Mount Gede Pangrango, Cianjur Regency.

"The activity will be held for one week and is expected to be an extraordinary journey and experience to forge oneself and instill noble values that will become provisions in living everyday life," said Bey.

Bey also asked the participants to become agents of change and make appropriate contributions to West Java and Indonesia.

"I hope that after this activity, participants will become stronger young men and women and women who are ready to contribute to the people of West Java and Indonesia," he said.

Bey also appreciated the collaboration between the West Java National Unity and Politics Agency-Wanadri with the aim of producing a young generation with a spirit of leadership and love for the country.

"I really appreciate the cooperation between Wanadri and Bakesbangpol West Java in organizing this activity. Introduction to National Defense and the Forest Mountain School are concrete steps in developing the character and leadership of the participants," said Bey.
