PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government has officially launched the One-Stop Service application, an integrated digital system that combines licensing and non-licensing services in one platform.

The launch took place at the Swatantra Wibawa Mukti Building, Cikarang Pusat District Government Complex, Monday (12/1/2026).

Acting Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja, emphasized that the launch of this application is a concrete step in strengthening bureaucratic transformation and improving the quality of public services in Bekasi Regency.

He emphasized that licensing services have a strategic role because they are directly related to economic activity, investment, and public trust.

In addition, the launch of this application is considered to be in line with corruption prevention efforts through MCSP (Monitoring, Controlling, Surveillance for Prevention) KPK Area 6, especially in the licensing and public service sectors.

"Effective, efficient, and transparent public services are key indicators of good governance. Licensing and non-licensing services play a highly strategic role because they are directly linked to economic activity and investment," Asep said in his remarks.

Entering 2026, Asep is committed to promoting the region as a prime investment destination in West Java. He believes the key lies not only in its strategic geographic location, but also in the ease of doing business through an appropriate and accountable service system.

He explained that the one-stop integrated service is no longer just a centralized counter, but has developed into a digital-based one-stop application system that is integrated and easily accessible to the public and business actors.

"I've instructed that there be no more manual bureaucratic obstacles. The public must be able to apply for, monitor, and find out the status of permits independently, anytime, anywhere," he stressed.

The Acting Regent also emphasized the importance of transparency regarding fees and service times to ensure legal certainty and eliminate illegal levies. With this system, the public no longer has to meet directly with technical agencies during the licensing process.

"Every type of service must have a clear duration and cost. So there's no more cheating. Everything is done through the app, and everything is recorded," he said.

Furthermore, Asep emphasized that integration between regional agencies must be truly effective. All technical agencies are now integrated into a single system, allowing for immediate detection and evaluation of delays.

"If there's a delay, it'll be visible in the system. Technical departments that are stubborn will be caught. We want to clean up the bureaucracy," he said.

To ensure optimal service, the Bekasi Regency Government has also established a 24-hour call center. Asep even stated his readiness to receive direct reports of service issues.

"If it's still slow, report it. We have a 24-hour call center. If necessary, I'll provide a dedicated number to call me directly," he stressed.

Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Bekasi Regency DPMPTSP, Juanda Rahmat, explained that the One-Stop Service device was designed to simplify bureaucratic business processes while strengthening control functions in the licensing and non-licensing service systems.

"The entire licensing process is now measurable and monitorable. The system includes an early warning system; applicants, agency heads, and regional leaders will receive notification when the deadline approaches," Juanda explained.

He added that there are more than 16 types of permits with different completion time spans, ranging from 7 days, 14 days, 28 days, to 180 days, depending on the type of service.

"If the files are incomplete, the system automatically returns them to the applicant's account, stopping the process. So now it's clear where the permit is at and what the obstacles are," he concluded. (Bekasi Regency Communications and Information Office/rka)
