PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - A total of 325 personnel from the Transportation Agency (Dishub) carried out security duties on New Year's Eve 2025.

Acting Head of Bandung City Transportation Agency Asep Kuswara explained that the personnel were spread across various strategic locations, including 10 security posts (pospam), 16 congestion points, tourist attractions, and four main flyovers, namely the Mochtar Kusumaatmadja Flyover (Pasupati), Kopo, Pelangi, and Ciroyom.

"We also collaborate with the TNI and Polri to maintain smooth and safe traffic during New Year's Eve," he said.

He said, although there were no flyover closures in Bandung City, his party ensured that road users were prohibited from stopping on the flyover in order to maintain the smooth flow of vehicles.

For information, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) along with the ranks of the Bandung City Forkopimda joined the West Java Provincial Government and the ranks of the West Java Forkopimda to conduct monitoring on New Year's Eve 2025 to a number of points. Starting from Simpang Cikapayang, Dago, then continuing to the Asia Africa area.

In addition, monitoring is also carried out at the regional level in 30 sub-districts. This step is expected to help create a safe and orderly New Year's Eve atmosphere in the city of Bandung.
