PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - The series of competitions at the 38th Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ) West Java level were broadcast live via live streaming on the Wibawa Mukti TV YouTube channel.

The wider public can easily access information and watch the ongoing competition via mobile devices or monitor screens available at each competition venue in real time.

"So, because not all of our facilities have adequate areas for visitors or companions, for this reason some of these locations can be broadcast via live streaming on the Wibawamukti TV Discominfo YouTube channel. So that the public can still watch, including visitors who can't go inside, they can watch live streaming," said Acting Regent of Bekasi Dani Ramdan after checking all the venues on the first day of the competition, Monday (29/4/2024).

According to Dani, the echo of holding this MTQ can bring a positive aura to social life in Bekasi Regency. Inviting people to know more about, appreciate and practice the values contained in the Al-Qur'an.

So that people understand that teaching the Koran is not only through lectures, but can also be done through activities like this. Those who saw it live or watched the live streaming were moved, it turns out that studying the Koran has many arts, many interesting things according to their individual interests. There are those who memorize, exegesis, recitations, calligraphy, we accommodate this so that later their love for the Al-Qur'an will be awakened.

"Hopefully the younger generation will also be inspired by the fact that studying the Al-Qur'an is fun. There are various ways, various fields, that they enjoy. So that later they will start to learn more, go to our teachers or training centers so that in the future our generation will be more familiar with Al-Qur'an. -Qur'an," he said.

Head of Information and Public Communication Division of Diskominfosantik Bekasi Regency, Rhamdan Nurul Ikhsan, said that in the 38th MTQ committee at the West Java level, Diskominfosantik Bekasi Regency was tasked with being the leading sector to carry out publications and documentation during the MTQ activities.

Through the Media Center located in the Wibawa Mukti Building, information regarding the organization of the competition, including the competition venue, competition schedule, and information regarding the personnel accompanying (Liasion Officer) for all caravans can be accessed by participants and visitors who are present at the location.

"To support the tasks given, we from the Bekasi Regency Diskominfosantik, especially in the Public Information and Communication Sector, have deployed all existing teams, including a multimedia team that facilitates livestreaming of activities throughout the competition venue, as well as a coverage team to convey and report the latest updates on the current MTQ implementation. " he said.

Rhamdan said, as instructed by the Acting Regent of Bekasi, the Bekasi Regency Diskominfosantik also prepared a circular and disseminated it to educational institutions, both schools and Islamic boarding schools in the Bekasi Regency area, to hold joint viewing activities via live streaming of the ongoing MTQ competition.

"We want the echo of the 38th West Java MTQ big event to be felt more widely by the entire community, especially in Bekasi Regency, so that the community, especially the next generation, can see how the best potential of each caravan in each branch of the competition appears in the competition. ," he said.
