
PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The people of West Java are satisfied with the performance of the West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) in the infrastructure sector under the leadership of Governor Dedi Mulyadi (KDM) and Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan. Several mandatory infrastructure projects undertaken by the West Java Provincial Government have received a high level of public satisfaction, exceeding 80 percent.
This is known from the results of a survey by the Indikator survey institute conducted between January 30, 2026, and February 8, 2026. The survey was conducted on 800 respondents spread across villages in 27 districts and cities in West Java.
Prof. Burhanudin Muhtadi, founder and researcher of Indikator, stated that the West Java Provincial Government's performance in infrastructure has received a high level of satisfaction. In fact, compared to May 2024, public satisfaction levels increased in January-February 2026.
For example, in improving the quality of roads and bridges, 65.4 percent of the public were quite satisfied and 20.5 percent were very satisfied.
The public is also satisfied with the increase in the number of roads and bridges. This is indicated by survey results, which show that 65.9 percent of the public is somewhat satisfied and 18.5 percent are very satisfied with the increase.
"In the implementation of mandatory government affairs, public evaluations are increasingly positive in every aspect. Particularly regarding the increase in the quantity and quality of connecting infrastructure, positive assessments have increased by 10 to 11 percent," said Burhanudin on Monday (February 16, 2025).
Public satisfaction with the West Java Provincial Government's performance is also evident in the provision of electricity. With this program, 73.9 percent of the public are quite satisfied and 18 percent are very satisfied.
Furthermore, the provision of a communications network was also appreciated by the public. 71.1 percent were quite satisfied with the program and 18.4 percent were very satisfied.
Another program, the construction and improvement of irrigation networks over the past year, has satisfied the community. 60 percent of the community is quite satisfied with the construction and improvements, and 15.6 percent are very satisfied.
