PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Major General (Mayjen) TNI Dadang Arif Abdurahman, has officially been appointed as Commander of the III/Siliwangi Military Command, replacing Major General TNI Mohammad Fadjar, MPICT.

The handover of office (Sertijab) of the Commander of the III/Siliwangi Military Command along with other high-ranking TNI AD officers was led by the Army Chief of Staff, General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, at the Nasution Building, Army Headquarters, Tuesday (24/09/2024).

Major General TNI Dadang Arif Abdurahman, is a 1991 Akmil graduate who previously served as the TNI Commander's Expert Coordinator and replaced Major General TNI Mohammad Fadjar, MPICT., who has served as Commander of the III/Slw Military Command since March 2024.

Next, Major General TNI Mohammad Fadjar, MPICT., took up a new position as Commander of the TNI Education and Training Command.

Major General TNI Dadang Arif Abdurahman, expressed his gratitude to the officials who carried out the handover of duties and advised them to continue the programs that had been implemented and create new creativity.

"Develop what can be done and please innovate and communicate well, hopefully the Indonesian Army can be even more glorious," said the Army Chief of Staff.

On that occasion, the handover of the positions of Chairperson of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Region III/Slw, Chairperson of Dharma Pertiwi Region C, Chairperson of IKKT Pragati Wira Anggini Branch BS VIII Kogartap II Bandung, and Chairperson of Kartika Jaya Foundation Branch XIX Siliwangi was also carried out from Mrs. Ira M. Fadjar to Mrs. Leni Dadang Arif A. (Parno)
