PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Acting Bogor Regent, Asmawa Tosepu received a visit from the new Chairman and administrators of the Bogor Regency Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI), in the Bogor Regent's Meeting Room, Cibinong, Monday (22/1/2024). Through KNPI, Asmawa Tosepu invited young people to take part in developing Bogor Regency.

The Regent of Bogor congratulated the election of the new Chairman and management of the Bogor Regency KNPI. According to him, the presence of KNPI is a blessing for the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab), because it will add to the list of organizations that can help the government in the context of empowerment, training and youth development in Bogor Regency.

"The Bogor Regency Government and the community in general will wait for the real progress and existence of all levels of the Bogor Regency KNPI. "Youth's work can contribute to development in Bogor Regency," he said.

Asmawa explained, youth is the nation's capital in facing development challenges, we know that youth are agents of change. I invite all levels of the Bogor Regency KNPI to work together to produce youth cadres with character, this is important because we are facing an era of disruption and development of information technology.

"KNPI as a forum for the youth movement will bring fresh air for the progress of training and development of youth existence in Bogor Regency. "That's why we are waiting for the administrators who have just been elected to do their work," he said.

He added, through KNPI we can promote character education among youth, especially for the younger generation in Bogor Regency. I also appeal to the youth of Bogor Regency to maintain solidity in order to build and maintain regional activities.

Chairman of the DPD KNPI West Java, Ridwansyah Yusuf, said that on this occasion he wanted to present the Chairman of the KNPI Bogor Regency with the results of the Extraordinary Regional Conference (Musdalub). And guarantee that the process is in accordance with the organization's Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART).

“We hope for the support of Acting. Regent of Bogor for the management of KNPI Bogor Regency. My hope is that Acting The Regent of Bogor can give direction to us young people to be able to synergize and be in line with the Bogor Regency Government program. We are also ready to collaborate with other agencies besides Dispora. "So that activities that are youth development in nature can be collaborated," he said.
