Minister of Home Affairs Assesses West Java Regional Budget Management as Transparent, Accountable, and Has Integrity

PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Minister of Home Affairs assessed that the management of the West Java Provincial Government budget was very transparent, accountable, and had integrity.

The Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian expressed his appreciation directly to the Regional Secretary of West Java Herman Suryatman at a working meeting in Jakarta.

"From the Ministry of Home Affairs' recent evaluation, we appreciate the West Java APBD in terms of governance, especially cash flow and absorption, which is one of the best in Indonesia," said Herman Suryatman via his Instagram account, Wednesday (8/5/2025).

Herman explained that the current West Java APBD cash flow from the PAD target of Rp30 trillion has been realized at Rp10 trillion or 32.9 percent. The spending budget targeted at Rp30.9 trillion has been realized at Rp6.7 trillion or 21.9 percent.

"We will continue to monitor its realization, especially its quality," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the building and construction spending money worth IDR 1.2 trillion, according to Herman, the budget is allocated for, among other things, the construction of public street lighting (PJU) and other needs at the Transportation Agency amounting to IDR 475 billion.

Then the construction of new classrooms and school renovation worth Rp431 billion. Then worth Rp25 billion for the construction of the West Java - Central Java border gate, Rp45 billion for the purchase of health facilities at the RSUD, and the rest is spread across various regional apparatuses and branches of service.

"There are branch offices that need improvement. We will manage everything well, accountably and always maintain integrity," he stressed.
