PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Isra Miraj is an important event for Muslims. Through this incident, the Prophet Muhammad SAW received the order to perform the five daily prayers.

That order is also what Muslims must uphold until now. For some groups, Muslims are required to perform the five daily prayers in the mosque.

Not only a place to perform prayers, the mosque also holds various activities. This is also carried out by the Al-Ukhuwah Mosque on Jalan Wasktukancana, Bandung City.

This mosque is an asset of the Bandung City Government which has various facilities and programs for ASN (State Civil Apparatus) and the general public.

One of them is a general study program that is held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The study that is held after the Dzuhur prayer aims to foster piety and faith.

"This is done as a form of coaching to increase faith and piety. Not only for ASN but also for the general public," said Secretary 1 of the Al-Ukhuwah Grand Mosque Welfare Council Agus Solihin, Friday (1/24/2025).

On Wednesdays, there is Muslim spiritual guidance from 07.30 - 08.30 WIB specifically for ASN and BUMD employees in the Bandung City area.

However, this event is also open to all levels of society to attend.

On Saturdays, Masagi (Saturday Morning Assembly) is held, which is a study for the general public and is filled by various resource persons in the city of Bandung.

This event is held at 07.30 - 08.30 WIB. After the study is carried out, the mosque will provide free breakfast for the community who attend the study.

For people who need guidance for the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, the Al-Ukhuwah Grand Mosque holds KBIHU (Hajj and Umrah Pilgrimage Guidance Group) activities on Sundays which aim to prepare knowledge for the two pilgrimages.
