PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Population and Civil Registration Office is providing an outreach service for e-KTP recording for students.

The Mobile Service Program (Mepeling) took place at State Senior High School 13 and State Senior High School 14 Bandung, Monday (10/8/2026).

The service also includes activation of Digital Population Identity (IKD) and Child Identity Card (KIA) for school residents.

The service runs from 09.00–12.00 WIB with the majority of participants being students who are entering the age required to have an e-KTP.

Bandung City Population and Civil Registration Office staff member Yadi Setiawan said the mobile service helps students complete population administration without leaving the school grounds.

"This activity is proactive. In addition to recording, we will return the completed e-KTPs to the schools where they were recorded. So, this is very helpful, especially for students," said Yadi.

Henhen Suhaeni, Deputy Principal for Public Relations at SMAN 13 Bandung, assessed that the service makes it easier for students and teachers to process population documents.

"This is very helpful, especially for students who want to apply for ID cards. They save time because they can study while doing so. Teachers also don't have to go to the Population and Civil Registration Office in person," said Henhen.

Mepeling is a weekly service from the Bandung City Population and Civil Registration Office that visits various locations to make it easier for the public to manage population administration.

Similar services continued from August 12–13, 2026 at SMAN 15 and SMAN 16 Bandung to serve the school community.
