PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Indonesian Princess Harashta Haifa Zahra made new history by becoming the winner of Miss Supranational 2024 which was held at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Poland, Saturday (6/7/2024) local time.

This achievement marks the first victory for Indonesia since the competition began in 2009.

The Miss Supranational 2024 competition, which took place on June 17 2024, involved 68 finalists from various countries. After going through various assessment stages during the quarantine period, the grand final event was held on July 6 2024 local time.

Harashta, who is also the Mojang of Bandung City, managed to beat competitors from the United States, Czech Republic, Brazil and Curacao to win the championship title.

Harashta's achievement as the only Asian representative in the top five round received a warm welcome from pageant lovers in the country. This victory not only brings pride to the city of Bandung, but also to all of Indonesia.

With this victory, Harashta has made new history and brought Indonesia's name to the international stage in the world of beauty.

"This is a very extraordinary moment and full of pride for me and all Indonesian people, especially for the people of Bandung," said Harashta after being crowned the winner.

For this achievement, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, expressed his congratulations and felt proud of the brilliant achievements achieved by Harashta.

Bambang hopes that Harashta Haifa Zahra's victory at Miss Supranational 2024 can be an inspiration for the young generation in the city of Bandung and throughout Indonesia.
