PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The 384th anniversary celebrations of Ciamis Regency were celebrated with a lively Healthy Walk event, a collaboration between the Ciamis Regency Government, OMG, and Anugerah Cosmetics. The event, centered in the Ciamis Alun-Alun Park area, was officially opened by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Ciamis Regency, Andang Firman, on Sunday morning (June 14, 2026).

Ciamis Regional Secretary Andang officially opened the event, which also highlighted the importance of synergy between the local government, the private sector, and community elements in building a healthy and productive region. The flag-off was enthusiastically received by thousands of residents of Tatar Galuh, Ciamis Regency, who had been crowding the launch area since dawn.

Also present at the event was the Head of the Ciamis Regency Tourism Office, Heryan Rusyandi. In his remarks, Heryan expressed his deep appreciation for the organization of this mass sports event and emphasized that the essence of this event goes beyond mere physical activity.

"Hopefully, this event will be more than just a sporting event, but also a platform for closer ties between us all. On behalf of the local government, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all parties who have worked hard to organize this event," said Heryan.

Besides expressing his appreciation, Head of the Office, Heryan, also reminded the regional leadership of the crucial message regarding public order and the preservation of public facilities. Considering that Ciamis City Square Park is a green open space that serves as an icon and a source of community pride, post-event cleanliness is a key focus for the government.

"Furthermore, we hope that, in accordance with the leadership's directive regarding the activities at the Ciamis City Square Park, we will all work together to maintain its cleanliness. We must not allow our beautiful City Square Park to become dirty after this magnificent event is over," Heryan persuasively urged the participants.

He encouraged all attendees to foster collective awareness by preserving the beauty of the city center. Concluding his remarks, Head of the Department, Heryan, prayed that the entire series of activities would proceed orderly, safely, and conducively from beginning to end.

The local government hopes that this activity, which has a positive impact on community fitness, will also be accompanied by a strong sense of social responsibility in preserving regional assets.
