
PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Regional Secretary of Bekasi Regency, Endin Samsudin, representing the Acting Regent of Bekasi opened the 8th Regency Conference (Mukab) of the Bekasi Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) which took place at the Sahid Jaya Lippo Cikarang Hotel, Monday (8/6/2026).
On that occasion, Endin conveyed that the Bekasi Regency Government has high hopes that the VIII Kadin Mukab can strengthen collaboration between the government and the business world in supporting regional development and increasing economic competitiveness.
He believes that Bekasi Regency, as one of Indonesia's largest industrial areas, plays a vital role in both the regional and national economies. Therefore, Kadin's presence is considered strategic as a government partner in encouraging investment, strengthening the business climate, and creating inclusive economic growth.
"Successful development cannot be achieved alone. Close collaboration is required between the government, business, academia, communities, and all elements of society. In this context, Kadin is a crucial partner in bringing innovation, opening investment opportunities, creating jobs, and increasing regional competitiveness," said Endin while reading the remarks of the Acting Regent of Bekasi.
Endin said that the VIII Regional Conference of the Bekasi Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) was an important momentum to strengthen the synergy between the government and business actors in facing various challenges of development and the development of the business world in the future.
He hopes the deliberation forum will produce Kadin leadership that is trustworthy, professional, and capable of responding to various challenges, ranging from global economic dynamics, digital transformation, strengthening green industries, to improving the quality of human resources.
"We hope this Mukab will produce leadership capable of further advancing Kadin and making a real contribution to the development and economic growth of Bekasi Regency," he said.
Furthermore, Endin encouraged all Muscab participants to make the forum a democratic, peaceful, and collaborative space for deliberation. He stated that differences of opinion are a natural part of any organization, but they must remain focused on the shared goal of regional progress.
Meanwhile, Heri Noviar, Chairman of the Bekasi Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2021–2026 period, stated that the 8th Mukab (Regional Conference) is a crucial opportunity for the organization to evaluate and develop strategic steps to address the challenges of the ever-evolving business world.
According to him, during his term of office, the Bekasi Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) has continued to strive to strengthen synergies with the local government, industry, business associations, and various stakeholders to support economic growth and increase investment in Bekasi Regency.
"Through the 8th Mukab, we hope to produce leadership capable of continuing the organization's programs, maintaining member solidarity, and strengthening Kadin's role as a strategic partner for the government and the business world in driving the progress of Bekasi Regency," said Heri.
He added that, as one of the largest industrial areas in Indonesia, Bekasi Regency has significant potential for continued growth. Therefore, strong collaboration between businesses, the government, and all stakeholders is needed to create a conducive investment climate, increase regional competitiveness, and create more jobs for the community.
The 8th Regional Conference of the Bekasi Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) was attended by members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Bekasi Regency Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), the West Java Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), community leaders, businesspeople, industry associations, and various strategic partners for regional development.
