PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin, officially opened the Musrenbang Group Meeting for the Preparation of the Garut Regency Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) for 2026 in the Field of Government and Human Development at the Garut Regency Bappeda Hall, Jalan Patriot, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, Monday (21/4/2025).

Through this activity, the government tries to realize the community's desires regarding development in various fields in Garut Regency.

Syakur hopes that every program and activity decided must be in accordance with the community's expectations to make Garut better, more advanced and prosperous.

In addition, Syakur added, the Garut Regency Government also advised that every program and activity decided be related to the main performance indicators of the government. One of them is improving the welfare of the community through the Human Development Index (HDI) indicator.

"Every program and activity must have additional data and complementary data that is measured quantitatively. The goal is to facilitate the process of comparing and selecting priority programs," said Syakur.

Moreover, according to him, through Musrenbang, all the hopes of the community will be inventoried, starting from technocrats, political promises, aspirations and others.
