PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government has successfully entered the top six nationally in External Archives Supervision based on an assessment by the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia after improving the quality of archival management (23/7/2026).
This achievement increased from the top 16 national ranking in 2024 to the top six national ranking in 2025.
Head of the Bekasi Regency Archives and Library Service, Jaoharul Alam, said the increase showed that regional archive management was improving.
"In 2024, Bekasi Regency will be in the top 16 nationally. Then, in 2025, we will enter the top 6 nationally," said Jaoharul.
He explained that Bekasi Regency also achieved the AA category or very satisfactory in external archival supervision for two consecutive years.
"Thank God, we are among the best in West Java for external archives supervision. Bekasi Regency won the award for two consecutive years, in 2024 and 2025," he said.
In addition, Bekasi Regency's internal archival supervision is ranked second best in West Java after Bogor Regency.
Jaoharul said that improving the quality of archiving is supported by digitalization through the Integrated Dynamic Archiving Information System (SRIKANDI) Application used by all government agencies.
"So, if all departments use the SRIKANDI application to digitize archives, its value will increase," he explained.
According to him, archival supervision will also continue to be strengthened so that archive management runs in an orderly, accountable manner, and in accordance with national standards.
The Bekasi Regency Government hopes that improving the quality of archive management will support more effective, transparent, and digital-based governance.
