PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) took action against a night entertainment venue that continued to operate during the holy month of Ramadan.

In a raid held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 evening, officers closed the Saga Vigor Karaoke karaoke venue on Jalan Ciumbuleuit No. 152 for violating regulations prohibiting the operation of tourism businesses on religious holidays.

This raid was carried out based on Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 7 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Tourism which was updated with Perda No. 14 of 2019, and Perda No. 9 of 2019 concerning Public Order, Security, and Community Protection (Tibumtranlinmas).

In addition, this raid also refers to the Circular Letter of the Mayor of Bandung Number 024-Disbudpar/2025 which regulates the closure of night entertainment businesses during Ramadan.

During the operation which took place from 20.00 to 00.00 WIB, officers found the karaoke place was still operating.

When the team arrived at the location, one of the karaoke rooms was still filled with guests, but they immediately left the place when they heard the officers had arrived.

In the room, glasses containing alcoholic beverages were found. In addition, several song guides (LC) were also seen preparing to wait for guests.

As a follow-up, Bandung City Satpol PP gave sanctions in the form of verbal warnings and sealed the business premises. In addition, one resident identity card (KTP) belonging to the related party was also secured as part of the enforcement process.

This raid involved various elements of the apparatus, including the Bandung City Satpol PP, the BKO Task Force consisting of TNI and Polri personnel, as well as a team from the III/Siliwangi Military Command, such as the As Intel Kodam, Dan Den Intel Kodam, Wadan Den Intel Kodam, and the Den Intel Kodam Team.

Supervision will continue to be carried out during the month of Ramadan to ensure that all night entertainment establishments comply with applicable regulations.
