PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - In a warm atmosphere after Eid al-Fitr 1446 H, the Bogor Regency PKK Team Association held a Halalbihalal event while commemorating Kartini Day at the Harris Hotel, Cibinong, Wednesday (23/4/2025).

The Head of the Bogor Regency TP-PKK, Eva Rudy Susmanto, said that she was grateful to be able to gather in good health and strengthen ties.

"This Syawal momentum is the right time to forgive each other, strengthen relationships, and strengthen the spirit of togetherness. I hope that our spirit of worship is not only strong in the month of Ramadan, but also continues to be istiqomah in the following months," said Eva.

Eva also highlighted the importance of women's roles in community development, in line with the commemoration of Kartini Day which fell on April 21.

"Kartini is a symbol of women's struggle. We, as PKK activists who are mostly women, must be role models and examples in society," she said.

She added that women have a strategic role as leaders in the family and community environment. With the theme of Kartini Day 2025, namely Empowered Women, Gen Z Steps, A Thousand Open Professions.

"We hope that the Bogor Regency TP-PKK can be at the forefront in supporting the empowerment of women across generations," he said.

On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the TP-PKK Association of Sub-districts throughout Bogor Regency, Elis Halimawati, said that this activity was a real form of the spirit of togetherness and synergy that was built among all TP-PKK Chairpersons from 40 Sub-districts in Bogor Regency.

"Through this activity, we want to continue to strengthen coordination between sub-districts and regencies in implementing community empowerment programs. Kartini is an inspiration, and we are all the successors of her spirit," said Elis.

Elis also said that this activity was held on a joint initiative through self-help funds from the Sub-district TP-PKK Chairs, who routinely hold meetings every four months.

On this occasion, 38 TP-PKK Chairpersons were present in person, while two others were unable to attend due to permission.

Bogor Regency itself consists of 416 villages and 19 sub-districts spread across 5 Korwil. In this activity, Korwil 2 and 3 were trusted to be the implementing committee, which was appreciated for its dedication and hard work.

"This meeting is not just a means of friendship, but also a forum to discuss and strengthen work programs that support development in Bogor Regency," added Elis.

The event was closed with an introduction session for the ranks of the TP-PKK Sub-district Chairmen, as well as plans for the next activity which will be filled with joint religious studies as part of spiritual guidance and increasing togetherness. (Diskominfo Kab. Bogor/rka)
