PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The search for a missing child with the initials R (5) who was swept away by the sewer current in Saripulo Village, Padaasih Village, Garut Regency on Wednesday (10/4/2024), until the 7th day of the search, has not found any results.

Due to this, with great regret, the Joint SAR team led by BASARNAS, formally in accordance with applicable regulations and the warrant given, stopped the search on the 7th day, Wednesday (17/4/2024).

However, the Joint SAR Team will continue to monitor the search for victims, especially along the Cimanuk river and tributaries, by always coordinating with volunteers and local communities, both in the Garut Regency area and in Sumedang Regency.

Based on the report from the Acting Head of Pasirwangi Subdistrict, Prayudi Yanuar Arif, on the last day of the search, the Joint SAR Team carried out condolences to the victim's house which was received directly by the victim's parents and family.

Prayudi continued, the victim's parents also admitted that they were sincere about the disappearance of R, who had not been found until the 7th day of the search, and the family also appreciated the Joint SAR Team, which had worked hard in various locations to carry out the search.
