PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Paskibraka successfully displayed the number 81 formation during the raising and lowering of the Red and White National Flag (17/8/2026).
The performance became a symbol of the 81st anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia and attracted the attention of the ceremony participants and the public present.
Acting Head of the National Unity and Politics Agency of Bekasi Regency, Robert Suwandi, said that the success of Paskibraka was the result of continuous coaching, training, discipline, and evaluation.
"In commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Paskibraka activity is a form of guidance and outreach to the younger generation, especially students in Bekasi Regency," said Robert.
According to Robert, Paskibraka training is not only oriented towards the technical skills of raising and lowering the flag, but also forms the character of the younger generation.
"Paskibraka is a platform for channeling the interests and talents of the younger generation, while also increasing self-confidence, discipline, the ability to value time, and shaping character and identity so that they become a high-achieving generation," he said.
The experience gained during training and carrying out Paskibraka duties is expected to be a positive asset for members in their daily lives and educational environments.
Robert assessed that the implementation of the Bekasi Regency Paskibraka continues to experience positive developments through coaching and evaluation carried out annually.
"Going forward, of course, we will continue to make improvements and evaluations so that the implementation of Paskibraka in the following years can be even better," he said.
The momentum of Independence Day is also used to instill a spirit of nationalism and love for the nation and state among the younger generation.
"Most importantly, through the Paskibraka activities, we want to instill a spirit of nationalism and love for the nation and state," he said.
Robert appreciated all members of the Bekasi Regency Paskibraka who had carried out their duties from raising to lowering the flag well.
"The August 17th momentum should be a means to continue to foster a sense of nationalism among the younger generation and foster their enthusiasm to contribute to Indonesia," he concluded.
