The Regent of Bogor conducted a roadshow to review the readiness for voting at a number of Polling Places (TPS) spread across the Bogor Regency area together with the ranks of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), KPU and Bawaslu (13/2/2024).

Asmawa Tosepu emphasized that the results of today's monitoring roadshow, preparations for everything had gone smoothly. Regarding security this year, the number of personnel who will provide security for the democratic party is greater, namely 33 thousand personnel compared to the 2019 election. Security personnel consist of elements from the TNI, Polri, Linmas, BPBD, Fire Department and others.

"We distributed the 33 thousand to more than 15 thousand TPS, so there will definitely be an increase compared to 2019. Because the number of TPS in Bogor Regency is the largest in Indonesia with approximately 3.8 million voters," he explained.

He also strengthened synergy with Bawaslu and Panwaslu throughout Bogor Regency to anticipate potential fraud during the elections.

"To anticipate acts of fraud, we always remind and socialize with Bawaslu and Panwaslu so that together we can guard so that this year's democratic party can be held honestly and fairly. And carried out cheerfully," he said.

In the same place, Head of Jonggol Subdistrict Andri Rahman said that the readiness of officers and distribution of logistics from the village logistics warehouse to 415 polling stations throughout Jonggol Subdistrict had gone smoothly and was almost complete.
