This training aims to improve the capacity and competence of members of the Bandung City Satlinmas.
This training is part of the 2025 Bandung City Musrenbang, as well as a real manifestation of the Bandung City Government's (Pemkot) commitment to strengthening the front line in maintaining peace, public order, and disaster preparedness.
Deputy Mayor of Bandung Erwin took the time to provide direction to Satlinmas members who attended the training.
"Satlinmas is our mainstay in protecting the community at the RT/RW level to the sub-district. This training will increase their professionalism and readiness in the field," he said.
According to him, as a disaster-prone area, especially floods, landslides, tornadoes, and fallen trees, Bandung City needs to increase preparedness. Moreover, BMKG predicts that the rainy season will continue, while the dry season is expected to be short.
"We ask Satlinmas to help handle the disaster and play an active role in the Anti-Thug Task Force," he said.
