PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government and PT Pos Indonesia plan to carry out a number of collaborations to develop micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). One of them is creating business incubation in 30 sub-districts.

"There are three things we want to collaborate on for the development of MSMEs. One of them is business incubation in 30 sub-districts. We will gradually try in 1 or 2 locations, then develop in other areas," said Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan during a visit to PT Pos Indonesia, Friday (3/14/2025).

Farhan said that the Bandung City Government and PT Pos will provide facilities for MSMEs so that they can continue to grow.

"MSMEs are given training. Also learn from PT Pos about product development," he said.

"We trade online, how to use devices, about logistics selling in the marketplace. That means we can work together there," he explained.

In addition to developing MSMEs, Farhan is also involved in distributing social assistance and market operations.

"We also see that there are programs at PT Pos, namely market operations and social assistance distribution. We will also collaborate on this," he said.

In the same place, the Main Director of PT Pos, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi is ready to support the Bandung City Government program.

"We will support the Bandung City Government program. God willing, this good cooperation will bring goodness and prosperity," he said.

Regarding the UMKM program, Faizal said, there are a number of things that need to be understood by UMKM actors. Among them are related to promotion, distribution, finance and education.

"Here (PT Pos) the registered UMKM is around 865 thousand. There are several Post offices that have also become UMKM Centers," he explained.

Faizal said that his party will collaborate with the Bandung City Government to present the UMKM Center. The plan is at the Bandung Asia Afrika Post Office, Kopo Branch and Fajar Post Agent (Kopo).
