Bandung City Government Ensures Creative Economy Ecosystem Continues to Develop

PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung Mayor, Muhammad Farhan ensures that the creative economy ecosystem in Bandung City will continue to grow. Therefore, related agencies are required to support the development of business actors.

"The task of the service is to build an ecosystem, the government ensures that the economic ecosystem occurs. The core of a business has a large space and stimulants in the economic cycle and industrial development," he explained at the Rame Rame Market Bandung event, at Kiara Artha Park, Friday (3/14/2025).

Farhan ensured that in the long term, banking and network infrastructure in Bandung City would operate well.

"We ensure that in supporting this economic ecosystem, banking operations are good in Bandung City. The network infrastructure is also running optimally," he said.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of halal certification in various fields and not only culinary.

"I make sure that business actors in Bandung City are halal certified. Fabrics also need (halal certification). What if the dye is not halal?" he said.

"Halal certification is a protection for all creative industry players to be able to compete with those from abroad," he added.

In the same place, the Chairperson of the Rame Rame Market 2025 Committee, Aditi Erlangi, said that this activity started from a small team with the aim of selling together with a simple concept.

"This is the 4th activity. We were able to collaborate, initially with only 11 brands, but now we are promoting 36 brands from Bandung and Jakarta," he explained.

He hopes that the three-day activity from March 14-16 will provide benefits and generate a lot of enthusiasm.

"Hopefully this activity will run smoothly and support from various local fashion activists can last and support from various parties including the government," he hoped. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/rka)
