West Java Provincial Government Wins Award in the Field of Road Construction from the Ministry of Public Works

JAKARTA – The West Java Provincial Government received an award from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) as the 1st Winner in the Regional Government Performance Assessment in the Field of Road Construction for the Provincial Government Category.

Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin directly received the award certificate which was presented by Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti together with Director General of Highways Rachman Arief Dienaputra at the Peak Night of Road Day 2024 at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Public Works, Jakarta, Friday (20/12/2024) evening WIB.

In addition to the West Java Provincial Government, the Ciamis Regency Government also received the title of Winner 1 in the Regional Government Performance Assessment in the Field of Road Construction for the Regency Government Category.

Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo appreciated the award winners. He hopes that the award can trigger all parties, especially local governments, to provide quality roads. Given that roads are one of the backbones of the nation's economy, their quality needs to be considered.

"Happy Road Day, success to all of us, hope that in the future our roads will be of better quality, effective, efficient, bringing a better Indonesia," said Dody.

Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti said the same thing. According to her, the presence of quality roads is crucial to driving the economy and connectivity.

"Infrastructure is the backbone of the nation's progress, with this development we can create a more prosperous and prosperous society," said Diana.

Meanwhile, Director General of Highways Rachman Arief Dienaputra stated that sustainable infrastructure development, especially roads, can improve community welfare.

"Steady and sustainable connectivity infrastructure development can create a more just, prosperous and prosperous society," he said.
