PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government welcomed the presence of Fuji Academy Deltamas, a job training institution that officially held a soft opening at SMK Ananda Mitra Industri Deltamas (10/4/2025).

SMK Ananda Mitra Industri Deltamas is projected to become a strategic regional partner in producing superior, competent, and work-ready human resources (HR), especially to meet the needs of the Japanese industry. This academy is considered to be able to strengthen the synergy between the world of vocational education and the world of industry in a sustainable manner.

Bekasi Deputy Regent, Asep Surya Atmaja, was present in person at the event and expressed his appreciation for the establishment of Fuji Academy Deltamas.

He stated that the existence of this training institution is a strategic step in strengthening the education and job training ecosystem that is adaptive to the needs of the global market.

"On behalf of the Bekasi Regency Government, I would like to express my appreciation and congratulations on the soft opening of Fuji Academy Deltamas. The presence of this academy is a strategic step in strengthening connectivity between the world of education and the world of industry," said Asep.

He emphasized that as one of the largest industrial areas in Southeast Asia, Bekasi Regency requires human resources who not only master theory, but also have high technical skills and work ethic.

"Bekasi Regency needs workers who not only have knowledge, but also skills and high work spirit. We strongly support collaboration like this," he added.

Furthermore, the Deputy Regent hopes that Fuji Academy Deltamas can become a training institution that is adaptive to the development of the times and contributes significantly to regional economic development.

"Hopefully the presence of Fuji Academy will provide great benefits to the community, the industrial world, and support the vision of Bekasi Regency to rise, advance, and prosper," he said.

Meanwhile, the Principal of Fuji Academy Deltamas, Dede Ariana, expressed her gratitude for the smooth soft opening. She explained that Fuji Academy focuses on Japanese language training and work skills needed for workforce placement in Japan.

"Fuji Academy Deltamas educates students to master Japanese and technical skills according to the needs of the job market in Japan. We also facilitate the process of direct job placement there," explained Dede.

In the initial stage, Fuji Academy accepted 90 students who will take part in training in two waves. The training program consists of two tracks, namely the internship visa program with a preparation period of around 4-5 months, and the SSW (Specified Skilled Worker) visa program with a training period of around 6-8 months.

“The SSW visa is for workers with specific skills and requires formal certification. It is no longer an internship program, but a professional work path,” he added.

Fuji Academy targets a capacity of up to 300 students per year with complete supporting facilities, including air-conditioned classrooms, dormitories, and daily meal services, to support the comfort and effectiveness of the learning process.

With the operation of Fuji Academy Deltamas, the Bekasi Regency Government is optimistic that it can accelerate the realization of the regional vision in producing a highly competitive workforce, not only at the national level but also internationally.

This collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the industrial world is expected to be a model for sustainable human resource development, while also making Bekasi Regency a leading job training center that is able to answer global challenges and the needs of the modern labor market.
