PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Acting Regent of Bekasi Dedy Supriyadi accompanied by the Head of the Water Resources, Highways and Construction Services (DSDABMBK), Henri Lincoln reviewed road infrastructure repairs at several points in the Bekasi Regency area, on Monday (7/10/2024).

The road repair activities visited included the Muara Bakti-Pulo Puter road section in Babelan District and the Kalimalang Tambun Selatan Highway, around Graha Kalimas and the Danau Indah Hotel.

Dedy said that the regional government is gradually continuing to work on road infrastructure improvements until the end of this year.

There are 10 work points spread across the Tambun Utara District, Sukawangi District, and Babelan District.

"Earlier we also reviewed the Babelan area because there are several sections that still need to be repaired. Including in the North Tambun area, these future facilities will facilitate access and comfort for road users," he said.

For the two Kalimalang border lines, from Bekasi City to the end of the border with Karawang, Dedy said there are still several points that are being completed. Precisely at the points around the Pospol and Hotel Danau Indah.

"Yes, there are still points that are being completed. Hopefully this year it can be completed on time," he said.

He said that as the face of Bekasi Regency, the Kalimalang Road section is expected to be well-organized to be more aesthetic and provide comfort and safety to road users passing by.

"There are several points that will be finished in 2025. So that the border area of Bekasi City - Karawang as the face of Bekasi Regency can be completed and organized," he explained. (Diskominfo Kab. Bekasi/Fauziah)
